Parent Events

Vanderbilt Hillel offers a number of ways for parents to get involved and join us for several events. Below is a list of upcoming events this year.

Family Weekend

Family weekend will take place for the 2023 - 2024 school year on October 13th - 15th. The weekend will include Friday night Shabbat services and dinner, a Saturday tailgate before kickoff, and a family brunch on Sunday.

Commencement and Family Leaf Program

We are excited to welcome the families of our graduates to spend time with us over commencement weekend. We will be holding a commencement brunch on Friday, May 12th.

In honor of your graduate, you may also purchase a family leaf to be placed on our donor wall.

First Year Students of Hillel (FYSH) Fest

If you are the parent of a first year student, we would love to invite you this fall for FYSH Fest! Parent programs will include cocktails and dessert with Hillel senior staff, a breakfast with students, a parent panel, and a campus tour!

We would also love to invite you that weekend to join us for our weekly student Shabbat dinner.
